Morning Market / Kea Farm
Cameron Highlands enjoy cool climate all-year round is best known for its fresh produce like Vegetables, Fruits, Flowers, among others. The day market or commonly known as Kea Farm is located 3km north of Brinchang / 3km south of Tringkap Among the popular items sold in the market include Corn (Jagung), Sweet Potatoes (Keledek), Fresh Strawberries, Strawberry Jam, Dried Strawberries, Bottled Honey, Tea Leaves etc.
The night market which occurs in Brinchang town is another popular shopping attraction and is usually the weekend favourite activity apart from enjoying the cool weather. Some of the produce sold in the morning market can be found here, but what attracts majority of the visitors here are the local cuisines which is a must-try, along with souvenirs.
For food, there is roasted corn, deep fried mushrooms, deep fried sweet potato balls, apam balik (local pancake with corn, nuts and sugar), fresh fruits and many more. Be sure to check them out. For those into the sights, there are plenty of souvenir items to be bought from local handicraft, to strawberry pillows, T-shirts, & toys for the little ones.

For the Malaysia humid weather all year round, Cameron Highlands is a place where strawberries are grown commercially and it is also one of the highlights of your trip to the highlands. There are numerous strawberry farms across Cameron highland where you can visit the farms, buy strawberries, and some even allow you to pluck your own strawberries.
Do note that strawberry prices vary from time to time especially during holiday or peak season. Check with the farms or nurseries on the prices before proceeding.
A list of strawberry farms include; Big Red Strawberry, Raaju Hill Strawberry, Water Cress Valley Sdn Bhd, Healthy Strawberry Farm, Kok Lim Strawberry Farm and many others.
Boh Tea Plantation
Scenes of Cameron are usually covered with lush green hills. Those pictures are usually of Tea plantations. Covering 8000acres of planted area, it is one of the biggest in SouthEast Asia. There is even a free guided tour taking you through the process of making tea leaf. Pictures alone do not do the place justice as the ambience with cool air, sipping a cup of tea overlooking the highlands is a truly an experience of its own.

Rose Garden / Cactus
There are number of gardens open to public some with entrance fee and other without. Over here, visitors can get up close with the local flora and fauna, of which some of the popular varieties include Roses, Camellia, and Carnations. There is also a Cactus garden where you can find many unusual Cacti. List of the Gardens include Rose Center, Rose Valley, Camellia Garden, Cactus Valley and there is a new Lavender Garden.
Located at the Kea Farm near Brinchang is a Butterfly Farm. The Butterfly Farm consists of 2 parts, one where the butterflies roam freely among the natural surroundings provided, while another with display cases and tanks featuring insects and reptiles.

Jungle Trekking / Mossy Forest
Gunung Brinchang is one of mountains in Cameron Highlands at 2000 meters above the sea level. From here, visitors can admire the beautiful scenes and weather (if the mists are not obstructing). Before reaching the highest elevation point one can find the Mossy Forest. It is an all-natural forest grown with moss, ferns and other tropical greens. In the Mossy Forest there is boardwalk of 2km for visitors explore. Take precaution as the environment at such peaks are constantly misty, wet and slippery. For the prepared and adventurous ones, you will find a trail to Gunung Irau at the end of the boardwalk.
For the gold lovers, there is 18-hole golf course near to Cameron Highlands Resort. It is the only gold resort in the highlands. The golf course is open all day everyday. Green fees vary from different times of the day and they even have a ‘silver hair’ rate for those above the age of 56.
Time tunnel is a local museum located in Brinchang below Kok Lim Strawberry Farm. The museum exhibits are collections of a Cameron local, and has done so over a period of many years. History lovers get to see the items shared by the owner through his life passage. Without having to spoil what is in store, head there to check it out as it opens daily from 9am to 6pm. Entrance fee is only RM5 per adult.
Hot Pot, Shabu-Shabu, or what the locals commonly refer to as Steamboat, is a popular favorite dining among Malaysians more so in Cameron Highlands with the cold weather. Steamboat dining usually have diners sitted at a round table with a huge boiling pot in the middle where guests cook their own food by tossing raw food into pot. This is definitely must try over here and can be easily found in many shops in town.
